About Me

Welcome! The purpose of this website is to provide information about occupational therapy and to provide parents and staff with resources.

A little bit about me! My name is Kristen Cornella and I am am occupational therapist for Douglas County School District. My current school assignments include Arrowood Elementary School, Redstone Elementary School, and Mountain Vista High School.

I started out working in the inpatient and acute rehabilitation setting, at the VA Hospital and then Craig Hospital. I have worked for DCSD for 15 years.

I have two amazing daughters in middle and high school.

When I am not at my girls soccer games or gymnastics meets, I enjoy reading, cooking, swimming, exercising and hiking. I also love to travel and I love the ocean and the beach!
