My Wonderful Heritage Community,

As November comes to an end, I am so grateful for the tremendous amount of support from all of you.  It is such a joy to have students and parents in our building each day.  We appreciate our community support not only at school but your support from home as well.

Our wonderful PTO sponsored another great connected community event, the Mother - Son Nerf Wars.  It was a big hit with both the boys and their moms.  Our Scholastic Book Fair was also a big success.  Many thanks to Susan Smith and Nicole Campbell for taking the lead and running this great event!  Our students had so much fun buying new books and our teachers so appreciated the generous donations of books from our families to their classroom libraries.

Kindergarten enrollment is now open. Please share this information with anyone you know who has an incoming kindergarten student.  Free full-day kindergarten is available and more details can be found on the main page of our website.  Tours are also available, so if you know of interested families, please have them contact Heritage.  We are hoping to have a Kindergarten Open House one evening soon, more details will be coming in the Thursday Blast. In the meantime, I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks and all the fun holiday activities that our students will be doing.

I need your help - please take a moment to nominate any of our wonderful Heritage Elementary staff members……..it’s time to submit for Apple Award Nominations!!  The links are open and the Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2022 Apple Awards through December 17th. Please share this information with friends in the school community. You can find the links here to nominate.

When I say Heritage is a special place, I mean it with all my heart.  There is no other school I would rather come to each day and it is because of all of you. As we begin the month of December, I want to wish all of our families and students a happy and joyful holiday season with good health for all.

Warmly,

Jean Wolach
