My Wonderful Heritage Community,

What a wonderful day we had last Friday at Heritage!  Our Halloween parties with classroom crafts and games made for such a fun-filled day!!  The students and staff so enjoyed dressing up in their costumes and being able to have our parade for our community to see.  Hope you all enjoyed some Halloween fun with your kiddos last night.  A big shout out to each and every teacher at Heritage as they all purchased boo pops for every student in their classes.  Not only did every student receive a boo pop, but we supported Mountain Vista’s Wish Week with this purchase.  What a blessing our teachers are!!!

Our PTO sponsored a great Donut With Your Dude event in October.  We were so excited to have so many dads, grandpas, and special dudes in our building going to classrooms and enjoying the scavenger hunt. We were also thrilled we met our Fund Run goal! All of our students had an amazing all-school prize day where every class got to spend their special’s time out in the Ninja Course.  The weather was perfect for that day and our kiddos had so much fun.  Thank you, thank you to the best community ever, as we raised a little over $43,000 for our school with our Fall Fund Run event.  These funds will help support teacher grants, curriculum costs, educational assistant support staff, and a few new items for our school.  Be on the lookout for our PTO-sponsored Mother-Son Nerf Battle event coming in November.

Hopefully, you all enjoyed our week off for Fall Break and had an opportunity to spend time with your kiddos.  I know our teachers always enjoy this break and come back refreshed and ready to inspire our young learners.

Our school talent show is set for Thursday night, we have such talented kids at Heritage and I can’t wait to watch them perform.  Our students will enjoy the show during the day, Thursday and it will be so fun to have our community attend that evening at 6:00pm!    A big shout out to Mr. Branning and Mrs. Myers for their support in organizing this event and spending countless hours with our tech crew and design crew to make this event so special.

Parent-teacher conferences took place before Fall Break week,  Thanks for your partnership in supporting your students and our staff by attending these conferences. Our students are growing and we are so very proud of each of our Explorers!

Please know how much I appreciate you all and am so very grateful to be the leader of such a kind and supportive school.

Warmly,

Jean Wolach
