My husband, Patrick and I have have two wonderful daughters, our oldest Hannah (26) is in Nursing school here in Denver after completing a degree from Colorado University in Integrated Physiology and will earn her BSN next May. Our youngest Karlee (22) is completing her Cosmetology license in Greeley and hopes to move back to Denver in November once all her practical hours are complete. Educational Philosophy

I believe that….

  • Each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. Our job is foster that potential each and every day at school.
  • Teaching is a lifelong learning process of learning about new philosophies and new strategies, learning from the parents and community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the children.
  • Technology is a tool used to assist our students with a 21st century education.
  • Collaboration and a culture of continuous support and love are the most important ingredients in a successful school.

My personal leadership mission is to inspire and empower the students, staff, and community of Heritage Elementary to achieve success through cultivating a culture that embraces change, growth, and new opportunities.
